This playful, hands‑on program invites kids aged 7–10 into a world of imagination, colour, and creative confidence. Each week explores a new medium — from clay creatures to galaxy paintings and recycled robots — giving children the chance to experiment, express themselves, and build skills in a fun, supportive environment. With a balance of art, storytelling, and tactile discovery, this series is designed to spark curiosity, nurture independence, and celebrate the joy of making something uniquely their own.

Sneak Peak of 10‑Week /Casual Kids Craft Schedule (Ages 6–10)

Week 1: Name Art-We kick off our creative journey with a colourful, confidence‑boosting project that helps everyone settle in and express who they are. Kids design their own name artwork using magazines, patterned paper, stickers, and bold colours, turning simple letters into a vibrant mixed‑media masterpiece. This activity encourages imagination, fine‑motor skills, and a sense of pride as each child creates something uniquely theirs.

  • Mixed‑media collage using magazines, coloured paper, stickers, and markers, salt technique and more.

  • Focus: self‑expression, cutting skills, confidence-building.

Week 2: Air‑Dry Clay Animal Sculptures -This week invites kids to bring their favourite animal to life using soft, easy‑to‑shape air‑dry clay. From tiny turtles to bold lions or completely imaginary creatures, children explore texture, form, and creative problem‑solving as they mould their mini sculptures. This hands‑on session builds fine‑motor skills, encourages imaginative thinking, and gives each child a tactile, expressive project they’ll be excited to take home once it dries.

  • Air‑dry clay animals, monsters, or imaginary beings.

  • Focus: fine motor skills, 3D thinking, storytelling

Week 3: Recycled Robots -This week turns everyday household items into imaginative robot creations. Using boxes, tubes, lids, foil, and colourful craft scraps, kids design and build their own quirky robot characters. They’ll explore problem‑solving, construction skills, and creative engineering as they experiment with shapes and materials. It’s a playful, eco‑friendly session that encourages kids to see possibility in the ordinary and proudly bring their inventive robot friend home.

  • Build robots from boxes, tubes, foil, lids, and craft scraps

  • Focus: sustainability, engineering play, teamwork

Week 4 Air‑Dry Clay Seed Mosaics- This week invites kids to explore texture, pattern, and nature as they press colourful seeds into soft air‑dry clay to create their own mosaic masterpieces. Using lentils, beans, corn kernels, and tiny pebbles, children design vibrant patterns or simple images while learning how different natural materials feel and behave. It’s a calming, sensory‑rich activity that builds fine‑motor skills, encourages mindful creativity, and leaves each child with a beautifully earthy piece of art to take home once it dries.

  • Air‑dry clay with assorted seeds (lentils, beans, corn, sunflower, pumpkin).
  • Focus: Encourages fine‑motor skills, sensory exploration, and mindful creativity through arranging natural materials into patterned clay designs.

Week 5-Mini Terrariums -This week, our makers will be creating their own Mini Terrariums — tiny worlds built inside a jar using coloured gravel, soil, moss, stones, and small decorative pieces. Kids can design a fairy garden, a dinosaur habitat, a tiny forest, or any imaginative world they dream up. It’s hands‑on, creative, and gives them something magical to take home and care for.

  • We will be working with coloured gravel, soil, moss, small stones, and tiny decorative pieces to build their terrariums.

Or they can make a magical Nature Wand using sticks, ribbons, and natural treasures to spark imaginative play.

Both projects invite children to:

  • explore natural textures, colours, and shapes.

  • practise fine‑motor skills through gluing, arranging, and decorating.

  • learn about animals, nature, and storytelling.

  • build confidence by choosing the project that excites them most.

Week 5- Watercolour Friendly Monsters & Straw Blowing -This week, our little artists will be creating friendly watercolour monsters using a fun straw‑blowing technique. Children will drop watery paint onto their paper and gently blow through a straw to make the colours spread into silly shapes, wiggly arms, wild hair, and funny monster bodies. Once the paint dries, they’ll add eyes, smiles, spots, and playful details to bring their happy monsters to life.

Through this activity, children will:

  • explore colour mixing and water movement.
