About Us

Hi, I’m Leigh —Founder and mum of energetic 9‑year‑old twins. I’ve spent years working with children and families across Australia, the UK, and New Zealand, and I absolutely love creating spaces where kids can unwind, get creative, and express themselves freely.

Alongside running art programs, I’m also a kids’ yoga teacher, basketball coach, yoga teacher, and sound healing practitioner. This blend of movement, mindfulness, and sensory play helps me bring a calm, grounded, and playful energy to everything we do.

Little Hands Big Art is all about colour, imagination, and hands‑on making. I’m passionate about building a space where every child feels welcome, supported, and excited to try new things. My background in art, movement, and community work allows me to weave together creativity, mindfulness, and plenty of fun — the perfect mix for little minds and busy hands.

I hold a current Blue Card and First Aid certification, so you can feel confident knowing your child is in safe, caring hands while they create, explore, and make a beautiful mess with me.

We can’t wait to welcome your little artist into the Little Hands Big Art Club.

Hi, I’m Yeasl, co‑founder of our creative children’s programs and a devoted mum of two. I bring a background in teaching digital design and over 8 years of home schooling experience into everything I do, and I absolutely love creating hands‑on learning moments with children. My days are filled with nature projects, sensory play, and imaginative craft sessions , the kind of rich, child‑led experiences that help kids grow confident, curious, and connected.

As a home schooling parent, I understand what children need to feel supported and engaged. I love turning simple materials into meaningful learning opportunities, and I naturally create calm, nurturing spaces where kids feel safe to explore, express themselves, and follow their own creative spark.

My love for nature shows up in my teaching style earthy, sensory, and grounded in real‑world discovery. Families trust my gentle approach, my practical wisdom, and my ability to meet each child exactly where they are.

I hold a current Blue Card, and I’m committed to offering a safe, welcoming environment where creativity and learning can truly flourish.
